What Black Kow does for your soil
Adds nutrients
Cow manure and compost feed plants for up to 3 months, naturally. 0.5-0.5-0.5.

Common questions
Spread a layer of Black Kow® about 1 1/2" thick to bed, then mix into top 6" of soil.
Add a 1/2" to 1" layer to beds once or twice a year. Mix into top of soil.
Fill raised garden beds with a mixture of 50% Black Kow® and 50% garden soil.
Dig a hole twice as wide and 6" deeper than the plant's container or root ball. Mix even parts Black Kow® and native soil together. Fill the hole with 6" of mix, place the plant in the hole, and fill the remainder of the hole. Water thoroughly.
For a 4' x 6' bed (24 sq. ft.): 1 bag at 1/2" depth, 2 bags at 1", 3 bags at 1 1/2". For a 4' x 12' bed (48 sq. ft.): 2, 4, or 6 bags. For a 6' x 12' bed (72 sq. ft.): 3, 6, or 9 bags.
Total Nitrogen (N) 0.5% (0.1% water soluble nitrogen, 0.4% water insoluble nitrogen), Available Phosphate (P₂O₅) 0.5%, Soluble Potash (K₂O) 0.5%. Derived from cow manure and compost. 0.4% slowly available nitrogen (N) from cow manure and compost.
